What Pasadena Homeowners Say About Birchbark Roofing Pasadena
Reviews tell you what a brochure can’t: how a crew behaves when they’re on your property for three days, whether the written price held, and what the cleanup looked like after the last truck pulled away. We earn every review the slow way, one roof at a time. A Pasadena homeowner calls with a leak, a sagging section, or a roof that’s simply done. We show up, write down a number, do the work, and leave the property cleaner than we found it. The comments below come from people who’ve had Birchbark Roofing Pasadena on their homes.
Recent Reviews
“We had water staining on the ceiling of our sunroom and honestly expected the worst. Erik’s crew found the flashing around the chimney had failed and reseated it the same afternoon. The price on paper was the price on the invoice, and they took a photo of the clean-up before they left.”
Jeff Z. — Bungalow Heaven
“The estimator walked the entire roof with me and pointed out things I’d never noticed, like the lifted shingles near the valley and a vent boot that was starting to crack. I got a written quote before any work started. No surprises, no add-ons. The repair has held through two rainstorms now.”
Leela S. — Madison Heights
“We replaced a 1998 roof with architectural shingles and the crew was genuinely careful with our garden beds along the driveway. They laid drop cloths through the hallway, knocked before coming inside, and kept the gate closed so our dog stayed safe. Erik’s team treated our house the way I’d treat a neighbor’s.”
Kelly H. — Linda Vista
“A branch punctured the roof over our patio during a windstorm and I called at 8pm expecting a machine. A real person answered, walked me through what to check, and scheduled the repair for the next morning. The technician wore shoe covers inside and explained exactly what he was doing. That’s rare.”
Jennifer T. — Hastings Ranch
“The old roof on our Spanish-style home had three layers of shingles that all needed to come off. Birchbark gave me a line-by-line price for the tear-off, underlayment, flashing, and new GAF shingles. The cleanup afterward was thorough enough that my kids went barefoot in the yard the next day. No stray nails, no debris.”
Jeff Z. — San Rafael
“What sold us was the 365-Day Done Right Promise printed right on the paperwork. We had a small issue after the replacement where a section of drip edge looked off. Erik sent someone back within the week and fixed it without trying to renegotiate anything. That’s what the guarantee is supposed to mean.”

Why Customers Trust Us
Read through those reviews and you’ll notice the same things come up again and again: the written price that doesn’t move, the technician who introduces himself at the door, the drop cloths in the hallway, and the photo of the clean-up before the crew leaves. Those aren’t accidents. They’re the standard we set for every job in Pasadena. Each technician is background-checked and uniformed, so you know exactly who’s on your property before they ever set foot on the roof. We work with materials from GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, IKO, Atlas, Tamko, and Boral, and we’ll explain why we recommend one over another for your specific roof slope and exposure. Every repair and replacement carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if the work isn’t right, Birchbark makes it right. Erik Lindgren oversees each project personally and answers questions in plain English. If you’re weighing a repair against a replacement, call (626) 657-5397 and we’ll give you an honest read and a written price before you commit to anything. Estimates are free, and the conversation won’t feel like a sales pitch.
